Fencers who wish to enter the Brisbane School Team Fixtures run
during Term 2 who do not have a school team participating in the
competition can enter as individuals and are entered into combined teams
with students from other schools.
IMPORTANT NOTE - FENCERS DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT IF THEIR SCHOOL IS ENTERING TEAMS INTO THE COMPETITION.
DATES: The competition runs on Saturday mornings during
Term 2. There are six rounds of competition (21 April, 28 April, 5 May,
12 May, 19 May, 26 May)

Note: Fencers are required to be ready NO LATER than 30mins prior to the round start time.
COST: The cost for the Fixtures is $50 per participant.
Fencers can compete in multiple categories but must pay a separate
registration fee for each.
MEMBERSHIP: Fencers are required to be a School Fencer Member or Junior Members of QFA in order to participate in this competition.
EQUIPMENT: Bouts
will be fenced using electric scoring equipment. Fencers are required
to have working electric weapons, body wires and lames. Fencers
who present to the piste with non-functioning gear will be sanctioned
according to the standard penalties for equipment. Note that Foil masks with conductive bibs are not required for school competitions in Queensland. Fencers
will be required to wear full fencing whites, including long socks, a
safe fencing mask and a fencing glove. The use of plastrons or
breast-plates is allowed and encouraged, and breast plates are required
for all female competitors.
