The Queensland Fencing Association will be hosting the U13 Sabre Competition on Saturday, 14th October at Yeronga SHS. Eligible fencers are those born after 1 January 2004 for Under 13.This is a friendly competition aimed at encouraging fencers to participate.
The event will incorporate the Novice Epee competition which is open to fencers with less than two years' fencing experience who have not won a State Championship or represented at a National level.
The All-Age 3-Weapon team relay event is open to any fencer who would like to participate.Teams will be assigned on the day of the event once entry numbers are known.Fencers will be required to indicate their weapon/s preference during the registration process.
Entry Fees
Earlybird (If paid before 11 October) $20.00
Standard (Paid after 11 October) $30.00
All fencers need to be either Junior or Senior members of the Queensland Fencing Association. Interstate and International fencers who are affiliated with their own governing body are welcome to enter. Entry is through the Interstate/International Fencer Registration link.

Competitors requiring assistance with equipment should email info@qfa.org.au no later than 11 October to advise your requirements.
All fencers are required to be there no less than 30mins prior to the start time. The competition will be fenced using full electric equipment including conductive foil masks.
All participants are expected to assist with set up and pack down of the event.
Referees
Referee nominations for this event are made through the registration process.
Competitors will be required to assist with refereeing of poules.
Referees are required to be at the event no later than 1/2hr prior to the event start.
A refereeing schedule will be forwarded after the event schedule is finalized.
Note:
Nominating availability for a competition does not mean that referees
will be automatically assigned to the competition. Final assignments
will be based on the requirements of the competition and at the
discretion of the Competition Management Team.
