2017 SprintSeries: Round 4

Registrations are closed


Registrations for this event have now closed. Late entries on the day will be $50.00 for members & $70.00 for non-members (cash only) and must be received between 9:30am & 10:00 am to the Organising Committee. Please bring correct money as change is not available. Please do not send emails or call regarding late entries as they will not be accepted, except on the day.

Instructions

General Information
  • Races start at 8:00am at Manly Warringah Kayak Club and distances are Island Run (1.2km), 500m and 200m
  • For 500m and 200m all paddlers will progress to Finals based on Heat results
  • Club Uniforms must be worn for all races
  • Please avoid using Address line 2 field where possible
    i.e. '15 Carr Street' should all be entered in Address line 1 field not just the '15'
  • In the registration questions please:
    • Choose one boat type for each distance (or select the Not Paddling option)
    • Enter your expected times to help determine the draw for Heats
    • Check the spelling of Partner names for accuracy
PaddleNSW Membership

All entries are validated against the AC/PaddleNSW membership system. This covers you for insurance purposes throughout the event and ensures that in the event of an accident you are actually covered. Please ensure that you enter your membership number correctly. You can find your membership details & status here: Member-Search. If you do not have current membership, please firstly check that your Club has submitted your membership through to AC, otherwise please direct your enquiry to the PaddleNSW Office on 02 8736 1254.

NB: You need to allow a minimum of 24 hours after you have updated your membership, before you can enter, as systems are not automatically linked. Please make sure to update memberships early and not on the day that entries close.

Not a member? You will need to pay an additional Day Licence fee to cover you for event insurance. More information can be found at Single Event Membership

SubJuniors (Under 12)
  • A parent's PaddleNSW membership can be used. You will need to contact us ahead of time so that we can make an amendment to allow the entry to be completed.
  • You must wear a LifeJacket. PaddleNSW does not provide any equipment.
  • A support paddler may follow you down the course, roughly 20-30 metres behind. The support paddler may not interfere/provide coaching during the race and is there to assist in the event of a capsize.
ParaCanoe/ParaKayak:
  • A support paddler may follow you down the course, roughly 20-30 metres behind. Late Entries will only be accepted on the day of competition, after registrations have closed. Entries must be received between 9:30am & 10:00am at the Finish Tower. $50/paddler (+ $20 Day Licence for non-members). Cash only, correct funds please as no change is available.
