Hi Sailors,
This is where you register for the 2018 Kerikeri O'pen Cup being held at Kerikeri Cruising Club on the 24th -25th February 2018.
It's shaping up to be a great event - see below for some additional information:
Family Fun Activity
On Friday 23rd February at approx. 5pm Bic sailors and any interested parents will be assigned to a Keeler from the Kerikeri Cruising Club on which they can then be part of the crew for that evenings Rum Race. This is a fun yacht race where only the Mainsail and Jib can be used. The race will start at 6pm and finish at approximately 7.30pm.
Following the race all are welcome at the main Clubhouse where a range of tasty bar meals can be purchased and a prizegiving for the Rum Race will take place. There is also a games room on the top floor for the young sailors entertainment!
Saturday Evening Dinner
On Saturday evening after sailing all sailors and families are invited to the main clubhouse for a buffet dinner of Ham on the Bone, Salad & Scalloped Potatoes followed by Chocolate Dessert Slice.
Tickets for the dinner are $20 per head or $15 for children 12 and under.
Lunches
Lunch will need to be pre-ordered and will consist of a healthy hamburger made by our lovely volunteers along with some cake or slice and a piece of fruit. All for only $8!
Club house
The main club house will be open during the day where parents can watch the races and tea and coffee is provided.
NOTE: All participants are required to be current season members of the NZOBA. This is a one off annual cost of $30NZD. You can become a member of NZOBA HERE.
