2017 Harbour Series - Race 6 - Spit to the Zoo

"Spit to the Zoo" is the 6th race of the 2017 PNSW Harbour Series for Surf Skis, Spec Skis, SUPs, Outrigger Canoes & Sea Kayaks. 
This event is hosted by Middle Harbour Yacht Club
Long course = 16 km. Short Course = 8 km.

This race is Middle Harbour and Sydney Harbour (Port Jackson) based and takes place on Sheltered Waters - on flatter / easier water conditions, unless there is a big wind or swell present or prior. There may be messy rebound waves at Middle Head for Long Course participants.There may be boat wash from other water users including large motor yachts. Check weather before starting event to be sure your ability and equipment is suited to the conditions anticipated on the day. 
Please - only enter the Long or Short course and use an appropriate boat to suit your abilities, experience and conditions anticipated on the day.


Note: Sea Kayaks, Plastic Kayaks and SUPs are to enter 8km short course ONLY, which takes place wholly within Middle Harbour.
In accordance with the event's Aquatic License:
ALL paddlers are to have a LEG LEASH available to be worn at the discretion of the Race Director on the day. No leash - No start.
All SUP Paddlers are to wear a LEG LEASH.
All paddlers must wear a (minimum) Level 50 LIFEJACKET. 
No inflatable Lifejackets are to be worn for this event. 
OC6 Paddlers MUST each carry a PFD within their OC6 craft at all times.
