to create nature play spaces in your centre or community. This one-day
Creating Nature Play Spaces Workshop will provide you with the tools to
undertake the process of transforming your outdoor space to a nature play
space.

This
workshop is suitable for staff from schools, kindergartens or day care centres,
local government, community organisations and community activists, landscape
architects and more!

Leaders
- Angela
Wright - Angela works for Nature Play QLD and QORF on a voluntary basis
and specialises in the planning of Nature Play Spaces and teaching others how to do the same. Angela
also volunteers for Parks and Leisure Australia (QLD) and in her former
(working) life was the Recreation, Sport and Open Space Planning Officer
for Redland City Council.
- Emma Baker -
Emma is a specialist in Nature Play spaces and works for DELVE Consulting. . As a fully qualified and
highly experienced Landscape Architect, Emma will be speaking and assisting
participants with ideas and addressing issues.
Catering
Morning
tea and lunch are provided, along with coffee and tea. Please provide
information about any dietary requirements when you register.
On
the Day
Please
arrive at 8:30 AM (30 minutes in advance) to check in and meet other attendees
and workshop convenors.
There is plenty of parking space on the premises.
