Registrations are now closed. Nominations can be taken up to 1 hour before the event start with a $10 late fee.
Ride the Cardwell Forest trails, roads and firebreaks.
Riders with "average" skills are catered for with a 27 km circuit with few technical sections ( some rocky ground though ). The fitter rider can do the circuit twice for a 54 km EFFORT.
Riders with advanced skills and fitness can try to master the modified 60 km CHALLENGE course. But BEWARE there are some extreme, short, sharp climbs and some tricky downs. There is NO "bike hike" this year although you may need to walk some of the pinches.
Entries will close late Thursday 10 August.
Fees are only $20 (short), $30 (long) and $50 (challenge) with a $10 late fee on the day but 1 hour before start time.
You must have MTBA race membership OR purchase a day race licence for $25 ($15 for under 19).
There are age categories with certificates and random draws.
Money raised goes to the construction of new single track around the Cardwell Lookout.
Stay in Cardwell at Cardwell Beachcombers Motel & Caravan Park (event supporter) on the Saturday, ride the course and enjoy "Cardwell by the Sea".
