Date:

July 2017 - June 2018

Registration closes on:

Friday, 15 September 2017 at 11:59 PM - (GMT+10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney

Please do not proceed with this nomination unless you have read, understood, and are willing to abide by the relevant High Performance Program Athlete Agreement. This can be downloaded from the AFF website under the High Performance menu, HPP Forms and Documents option.  It is not necessary to physically sign the agreement, as this is included within the nomination process.

Parents of children who will be in their last or second last year of high school are strongly recommended to consider the considerable travel and training time commitments (a minimum of 2 x 10-day events overseas usually during term time, plus at least 2 x 4-day camps), often during school term, that membership of the Australian Fencing Team entails. The Australian Fencing Squad was specifically put in place to allow those who cannot fully commit to the obligations of the Australian Fencing Team to still be part of the HPP.

It is important that you have checked that you satisfy the ranking point requirements of Appendix G of the Selection Policy, and (for AFT first round nominations only) Appendix F of the Policy, and nominate for the correct category - AFS or AFT - of the High Performance Program.

Athletes should be aware of the High Performance Camp obligations for 2017/18 (click here).

Note that the amount paid here is a deposit amount only and will be offset against payments due under the Athlete Agreement, or refunded if you are not selected.  If you currently have debts owing to the AFF, the system will prevent you from completing this nomination.

Nominees should make themselves aware of the Operational Protocol associated with the nomination and selection process (click here), and with exemptions and withdrawals (click here).

The AFF's Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected here, and can be reviewed on the AFF Web Site (Documents and Policies, All Documents and Policies, Privacy Policy -
