The Queensland Fencing Association Under 13 and Under 15 State Championships will be held on Saturday, 3 June, 2017 at Yeronga State High School, Villa Street, Yeronga.

 

Eligible fencers are those born after 1 January 2002 for Under 15 and after 1 January 2004 for Under 13. Entry to each event is $40 and should be made through the online payment system.

Earlybird entries made by the 31 May, 2017 have a discounted entry fee of $30.

Fencers competing for the first time in a QFA competition have a discounted entry fee of $15.00 for the first weapon only.

In addition, Under 13 fencer who compete in both the Under 13 and Under 15 event in the same weapon can purchase a discounted combined entry for $55 ($45 for early registration).

All fencers will need to be Junior members of the Queensland Fencing Association in order to register (although Interstate or International competitors are welcome - please contact admin@qfa.org.au to register). Fencers who have previously registered as School Fencer Members of QFA need to upgrade their membership via the QFA Membership Page.

 

To compete in multiple events, please add a new registration for each additional event.

8:00am U13 Girls Epee
8:30am U15 Sabre
11:00am U13 Boys Foil
11:00am U13 Girls Foil
11:30am U15 Boys Epee
11:30am U15 Girls Epee
1:00pm U13 Sabre
2:00pm U15 Boys Foil
2:00pm U15 Girls Foil

Fencers need to be there at least 15 minutes before the start time to get ready. Competitions are fenced using full electric equipment, although conductive foil masks are not required. Medalists will need a tracksuit jacket or fencing whites for presentations.

Participants are expected to help setup and pack away equipment for the competition.
