Entry Instructions:
Note that this race is a round of BOTH the 2017 PNSW Marathon Series, AND the Northern Marathon Series. It is imperative that paddlers identify which Marathon Series they are entering and which Marathon Series they want their points allocated to.
The first Question in the "Participant Questions Section" asks you to identify which Series you are entering.
This MUST be answered by ALL paddlers......you can only select one option.
If you are entering for the Northern Marathon Series, then Question 2 must also be answered, identifying what boat type/class you are entering. (PNSW Marathon Series paddlers are not required to answer this Question.
All paddlers must answer Question 3 identifying which Division/Distance they are entering.
For Singles entries...
If you are entering as a Single competitor - choose "I'm a Competitor", press "Continue" and then follow the prompts to complete your entry.
For Doubles entries...
If you are the first person of a Team entering a Double - choose "Create a Team" press "Continue",
then add your Team Name, select the type of Doubles Entry (Junior, Adult, VJ, etc) and enter all details for the Team Captain.
If you have all the details for the second paddler (including their PNSW Membership Number) you can enter their details also. If you don't, then you can send them an email, Inviting them to join your team.
Once you have sent the Invitation, you do not have the option to Edit and/or Add the other team member yourself. (you can cancel the invitation and enter the required information if you have it)
If you are the second person of a Team entering a Double, and have received an Invitation to join a Team, please select "I'm a Participant", then select "Yes" when asked if you are a member of a team, press "Continue" and then enter the name of the team you were invited to join. Then continue to complete all your entry details.
The Team Captain (creating the team) can pay for one or both paddlers at the time of entry. However, the entry is not considered 'complete' until all paddlers details have been entered and paid.
Note: Lifejackets (minimum rating 50N) MUST be worn by ALL competitors in this event.
Bumbag style lifejackets are NOT approved by PNSW for use in this event.
