DESCRIPTION:         

Olympic Trophy Challenge and Artistic Trophy is an annual Interstate Competition, which is both an Interstate level and an Individual competition, and has been running for over 30 years.

The competition will be conducted under the rules of Ice Skating Australia and the ISU


******* with the exception of ARTistic (props, leaning, sitting, lying, kneeling are all acceptable!

DATES:     14th to 17th April, 2017 (Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday)

 

TIMES:   Starting times and practice schedule will be advised approximately 7 days prior to the event.

 

VENUE:                        Olympic Ice Skating Centre, 1080 Centre Road, Oakleigh South  3167

ICE SURFACE:          The dimensions of the ice surface are – 52m x 23m.

PRACTICES:             



Practice times will be advised approximately 7 days prior to the competition. There will be official early morning practices on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and Monday's practice will start a little later at approx. 9:00am.

Friday afternoon will have unofficial practice sessions solo skaters from Aussie Skate to Senior.



These sessions will be split by approximate skill level (eg Aussie Skate or Elementary). Coaches can be on the ice and music may be played.


Schedule will be advised when entries received. The cost of the Friday session has been included in the entry fee.

Spin~Jump~Spiral Challenge

* A return of this fun event - we will be splitting the divisions dependent upon the 
number of entries, but in keeping with level requirements. This is a Team Event!

* Winning Team will be judged as the highest aggregate score for the team



* Practice will be 2 minutes, then each skater will perform consecutively



* Elements are as indicated in the Spin~Jump~Spiral notice on the OFSC website



* Competition dress



* No props



Best Dressed Bunny Comp ~ "Supreme Bunny" Prize



* Most outlandish creative and/or whacky costume! Get cracking!



This will include judges and officials on "ARTistic Monday"
