The Seacliff Challenge is the 4th and Final race of the 2016/17 PNSW Ocean Series for Ocean Racing Surf Skis, SLSA Spec Skis, SUPs and Outrigger Canoes. 

This event is organised by the PNSW Open Water Committee.
This event is hosted by Bulli Surf Life Saving Club and will be run from Bulli Surf Club, Trinity Row, Bulli, NSW 2516 - South Coast NSW.

Event Distances: Long Course = approx 16 km. Short Course = approx 8 km.

This event is for experienced Ocean Series paddlers only.
Beginners should enter the Harbour Series events being held from January 26 2017 to gain necessary experience.

This race is located and will be run entirely in the Tasman Sea, in a region bounded by Sandon Point to the North and Bellambi Point to the south.
As a result of some weather patterns, a sizeable swell can build and affect waters within the race course area, with large swell, messy chop, reflected waves and rebound being experienced. There may be boat wash from others. Please ensure that if doing either the Long Course or the Short Course, you are capable of handling the conditions on the day. If in any doubt as to your abilities in such conditions, we recommend you compete in the Short Course only, or do not compete
. In the case of extreme weather we have a sheltered alternative course. Please ensure you check the weather and forecasts before entering or starting the event to be sure your ability and that all of your equipment is suited to the conditions anticipated on the day.

Note - In accordance with the event's Aquatic License:
ALL paddlers are to have a LEG LEASH available to be worn at the discretion of the Race Director on the day. No leash - No start.
All SUP Paddlers are to wear a LEG LEASH.

All paddlers must wear a (minimum) Level 50 LIFEJACKET.
No inflatable Lifejackets are to be worn for this event.
