The Rutherglen Country Fair is one of the oldest and largest regional markets in Victoria. It is held on the Sunday of the Queen's Birthday long weekend from 9:00am to 3:30pm and is part of the popular Winery Walkabout weekend.

The market is held in the main street and with over 300 sites attracts upwards of 10,000 visitors wanting to buy all types of good from homemade arts and crafts, clothes, tools, produce.  There is even an animal farm and rides for the kids as well as the traditional wine barrel race and grape tread competitions.

Community groups and local traders provide all the hot food and drink from outside there premises.

All funds raised from the market go back into projects within the Rutherglen and district local community.

If you require further information go to the Rutherglen Rotary website or call the market secretary on 0434 185 177.
