A one day course designed to provide the skills and knowledge to manage a patient in the immediate period of crisis.

The ARC ALS course is a standardised national course with international accreditation ideal for healthcare professionals with limited or infrequent exposure to critical events.  Successful candidates receive an ALS completion card issued by the ARC (valid four years).

You will learn:

 -  Recognition, assessment and management of the critically ill patient using structured ABCDE approach 
 - Airway management skills 
 - Basic life support 
 - Defibrillation - manual AED 
 - Cardiac arrest management using ARC ALS algorithm 
 - Post resuscitation management
