Event Overview:
The CRAVE Mountain Bike Challenge and Wild Bull Run are set to become one of WA’s newest iconic Mountain Bike and Trail Events, set in the spectacular Wellington Dam National Park and Ferguson Valley, 1hr 45 south of Perth.
The CRAVE Bunbury Subaru Mountain Bike Challenge
will be Australia’s only long distance mountain bike event run almost entirely in a National Park, featuring the wild rapids and tranquil pools of the Collie River Valley beneath steep rocky outcrops and pristine iconic WA forest.
The area already has 40-50km of fast flowing scenic and challenging singletrack that Mountain Bikers CRAVE!!! The Wellington National Park has been earmarked for major future trail investment, to become a Mountain Bike Network of National and potentially International significance.
The CRAVE Mountain Bike Events start and finish at the award winning, Wild Bull Brewery, overlooking the picturesque Ferguson Valley and Indian Ocean.
With 5 different distance events and trail types over 2km, 6km, 22km, 40km and 80km, the CRAVE Mountain Bike events will cater for everyone from beginners, kids, families, weekend warriors and expert Mountain Bike Riders.

INSURANCE
All riders are covered by MTBA Insurance. Please see the http://www.mtba.asn.au/membership/insurance/ for more information. However, we recommend entrants have personal accident and ambulance cover taken prior to the event, to cover any extra unforeseen costs.

The, Inaugural, CRAVE Wild Bull Trail Run/Walk,
will also be run over the weekend on the Saturday morning with 2.5km, 6km, 12km, 18km premier and 42km epic trail runs on offer,
all while avoiding the menacing fun “Wild Bulls” of the region!!
Runners and hikers will begin the Premier 18km & 42km events starting with the unique opportunity to run across the top of the Dam Wall.

Those attempting the 42km run will do all three events sequentially finishing with 2 laps of the 6km course and the additional challenge of completing it under 7.30min/km pace.

Catergories and Awards
There will be over $15,000 worth in prizes given away at this event!!!
The Biggest Prizes, like the
- Trip for 2 to Africa including flights and accommodation worth over $10,000!!!
will be drawn from tickets that are earnt by participants;
- Who will receive 1 ticket for every $20 raised by Riding for a Ranger for TTGLF. i.e. the more money you raise the more chance you have;-)
- Who place in the top 3 of their category to receive 1 ticket for 1st,2nd and 3rd
The Top 3 category winners will receive a framed winning certificate including a photo of themselves at the event. They will also be eligible for category prize give-aways yet to be announced.
