General Information

Angus Youth invites all young beef cattle enthusiasts to participate in the next Teys Australia Angus Youth National Roundup which is being held at the Mount Gambier Showgrounds, SA from the 12th to the 15th of January 2017. The committee is working hard to ensure that you'll make new friends, have fun and learn lots about the Australian Beef Industry during the event.

The Entry Fee includes the full Roundup educational and fun program, participants meals from Thursday afternoon tea to Sunday Lunch inclusive, a Special Dinner Dance ticket, Participants Shirt and a Drink Bottle, with a total value of $300.00, and you’re paying only $175.00!

You don't need your own Angus cattle to participate in the Roundup. Provided you enter on time, the Committee will arrange an animal for you to borrow for the duration of the Roundup.

Participants will be split into age based groups - PEE WEE, JUNIOR, SUB-INTERMEDIATE, INTERMEDIATE & SENIOR - for the duration of the Roundup including industry sessions and the many competitions.

Designated sleeping areas may be provided for participant's staying on the showgrounds, in which there will be parent supervision. In addition, a security guard will be hired for the Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights. A St John's Ambulance Member will also be in attendance for the event. Participants may choose to stay off grounds; however no responsibility will be accepted while participants are off the grounds.
