Come down and run this race!

The Wounded Pelicans are hosting their first event - a 5km & 10km Beach Fun Run on Sunday 4 December 2016 down at Burleigh, Gold Coast! This will be the first weekend of summer so come down and race your friends down at this fun run.

The 2 Pelicans are two GC locals who are competing in 40 endurance events this year to raise $20k for cancer research and would like to host their first race. They're off to Mt Everest next year and are doing a few other mammoth events which is why this race is happening to fund it a portion of it. A percentage of the ticket sales will go toward their cancer fundraiser too.

The event will be catered for everyone so if you're not a runner, still come down! 

There will be prizes for the top 3 finishers of both races so make sure you bring your quick running game with you!
