This registration facility is provided to Australian fencers for tours which are compulsory for members of the High Performance Program, but are also available for participation by non-HPP fencers.
Each tour has a different schedule (dates) and itinerary (locations). Athletes should check the AFF website for tour details.
ote the "Fees and Charges" information on the AFF web site (
), in addition to the Operational Protocols on Selection (
) and Tour Costs (
). As part of the registration process, you will be asked about travel insurance. If you leave this blank, the standard tour insurance charge will apply. Late registrations will attract a late fee - this part of the amount paid here will not be offset against actual tour costs for the nominating athlete, but will instead contribute to the overall team costs.
In order to nominate for events that form part of the tour, you will need an FIE licence (and, for cadets, an EFC licence). This is not required immediately, but you will not be able to complete your nomination unless all of the international representation pre-requisites have been competed (
Athletes intending to compete in Junior or Senior World Cup events need to note very carefully the operation of the Selection Policy (sections J4.21 - J4.23, and O4.21 - O4.23 respectively). The Operational Protocol for other Category "E" events for cost information is also relevant (
), as is the information relating to Team entries (
Important Note: nomination for the competitions that are part of this tour is an additional process, and
be done using the overseas competition entry facility
As with the FIE/EFC Licence above, event entry does not to need to be done at the time of tour nomination.
