The QFA Squad Competitions are designed to give younger fencers more experience in competitions. The competition is for Junior and Intermediate Squad Participants and Under 15, Under 13 and Under 11 Fencers (born 2001 or later). The competition will be fenced in a modified format, with exact details (including separate divisions, etc.) decided once the number of registrations are known.

Each Development Squad Participant receives complimentary entry into the competition. For other fencers (or Squad members competing in additional events), the entry cost is $35 per event. Registrations (including for Squad members) must be made via QFA's online system (see the Registrations and Payments page for details).  Fencers must be School Fencer or Junior Members of QFA to compete.

The competition will be held at Yeronga SHS, Villa St Yeronga at the following times. (Fencers should arrive at least 20 minutes before the start time to warm up and get ready):

Epee - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Sabre - 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Foil - 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The competition will be fenced using full electric equipment (foil bibs not required)

Jacket, Breeches, Fencing Glove and Long Socks (underplastron is recommended)

Breast Plate/Chest protector is recommended for all competitors and required for female competitors
