ENTRY FEES

The Knight Frank Point to Pinnacle is a sell out event (sold out in 40 days in 2015)

This year is the 22nd edition of the event and we expect it will sell out in approximately 30 - 40 days.

# Please note your registration is only complete once you have received a confirmation email of your registration. You cannot complete your registration details and then come back another time to complete your payment transaction. This is seen on the system as an incomplete transaction and does not enter you in the Point to Pinnacle. No credit card payment = No Entry.

Once you have booked your accommodation you will receive two promotion codes from Wrest Point in your confirmation email (one for each person in your booking), these codes can then be used to complete you entry process as you normally would by clicking "Enter Now" on the P2P website.. (Remember you only need to enter standard entry fee and use your Promotion Code). When you finalise your event entry it will process without payment required as you have already made a full payment to Wrest Point of $219.

Special Accommodation Package Description:

Get into the zone for Point to Pinnacle and stay at Wrest Point the night prior, it couldn’t be easier. The P2P Package at $219.00 which includes accommodation in the tower for two people,  two event entry tickets @ $65.00pp, two breakfast packs which has a Banana, Water, Up and Go, Muesli and Yoghurt (valued @ $18.50pp), race number pick up on check in and a late checkout of 2pm.  Full payment will be required at time of booking with a maximum of two per room and no cancellations. That means you are getting a nights accommodation in one of Tasmania's icons (and located at the race start) for only $89.

# AGE RESTRICTIONS APPLY IN THE KNIGHT FRANK  POINT TO PINNACLE:

Minimum age to enter the walk = 14 years of age
Minimum age to enter the run = 16 years of age

No Late Entries will be taken on the day.

Maximum entries will be 3000 (this is a sell out event so enter early)

WARNING: This event is physically strenuous. If you have any doubt as to your ability to undertake this event or suffer from high blood pressure or any other related condition, please check with your doctor before entering.

DRESS: Please ensure you run in gear appropriate for changing and possible cold weather conditions. The weather at Wrest Point can be completely different to what you experience as you ascend the mountain and get closer to the pinnacle. Make sure you have a gear bag packed that can be put on the gear bag bus so you have dry and warm clothes waiting at the Pinnacle.

TIME LIMITS:

Run 3 hours 40 minutes, walk 4 hours 40 minutes.

PLEASE NOTE: 
1. Tasmania Police will not allow runners/ walkers to finish outside these time limits. This will be strictly enforced.
2. If you enter the Recreational Walk, you ARE NOT PERMITTED to run at any point (This will be strictly enforced by Tasmania Police & Event officials).
3. If you enter the Run, you can walk, jog, run at any point on the course.

THE COURSE:

The Knight Frank Point to Pinnacle run and recreational walk starts at Wrest Point car park turning right onto Sandy Bay road, following Sandy Bay Road, left into Byron Street and left into Davey Street at Hotel Soho. Davey Street becomes Huon Road as it travels the route to the right turn onto Pillinger Drive and on to the pinnacle of Mount Wellington. The course is 21.4km long and just over 1,270 metres in elevation. This race is physically challenging and scenically stunning.

COURSE PROFILE:

In the event of weather precluding participants from reaching the pinnacle safely, there will be contingency routes that will allow progress up the mountain as far as possible to a point that will enable buses and finishing procedures to be in place.

POLICY ON REFUNDS:


Entry fees paid by intending participants who choose to withdraw, for whatever reason, will be donated to the nominated event charity. The official charitable organisation of the Knight Frank Point to Pinnacle is Movember.
