QFA is hosting a Training Camp for Junior fencers on Thursday 30 June and Friday 1 July. There will be three different groups running during the camp:
- Learn to Fence - for those who have little or no experience of fencing (0-3 months)
- Beginner Foil/Epee/Sabre - for those who have some experience of fencing (3-12 months). This is also a great opportunity to learn a different weapon if you have previously only been training in one.
- Intermediate and Advanced Foil/Epee/Sabre - For those who have been fencing for more than one year, and is particularly recommended for those fencers travelling to Sydney to compete in the Australian U15 and U17 Championships at the beginning of July. The camp will include sessions on tactical and technical development for both individual and team competitions, as well as information on procedures and equipment for National Competitions.
