Smarter Than Smoking
Minikhana 2016 Season
Venues:

 Coolup:

Heron Point Road (west of Forrest Highway approx 15 km south of Pinjarra Road)
Gidgegannup:
  • Travel 13kms north on O'Brien Road,from Toodyay Road. Venue is on the left.
  • Venue entry will be signposted. Travel 1.5kms on gravel, bush track to event site.
Pinjar:
  • Head east on Joondalup Drive from Wanneroo Road for 4.5 kilometres
  • Turn left on to Old Yanchep Road and travel for 1.6 Kilometres
  • turn right onto Ziatas Road and travel for 1.5 Kilometres
  • Turn left onto Ziatas Road at right bend and travel for 900 metres
  • Venue is on your left 

Entry Information:
  • This Minikhana is open to all children aged 4 years to 14 years.
  • The MAXIMUM sized bike you can use for Minikhana is a 85cc 2stroke or 150cc 4stroke. This is because the arenas used are too small for bigger bikes. 
  • Junior Quad bikes are not permitted at this event.
  • $30 entry fee
Gear:
 
All participants are to have the following riding gear as a minimum requirement:
  • Helmet (Australian or International Standards Approved) 
  • Boots 
  • Body Armor( Full Back and Chest)
  • Goggles 
  • Gloves 
  • Long Sleeve Shirt or Jersey 
  • Long pants that are non combustable or Riding Nylons
Unfortunately, MWA cannot provide any safety apparel at this time and the sharing of bikes and equipment is NOT permitted.
 
Important Times for the Day of the Minikhana:
  • 09:00am Registration and Scrutineering Opens.
  • 09:45am Registration and Scrutineering Closes.
  • 09:45am Riders Briefing.
  • 10:00am Event Start.
  • Approx 12.00pm Lunch.
  • Approx 2.30pm Event concludes.

Minikhana is a family participation sport. 

For Minikhana to be successful it is important for Parents to understand that they will have an active role throughout the event as Flag Marshals, Scorers and / or Officials.

ENTRY IS $30 and a COMPULSORY BUT A FREE ONE EVENT LICENCE for the day is available if you have never held a licence.

If you have held a motorcycling licence in the past, but currently do not have a licence, you will need to purchase a one event recreational licence for $25. This licence must be purchased through this site.
