Time
Management for Effective Team Leadership
Enhancing grower groups
through effective leadership and management of self, others and ‘time’
Thursday, 12 May 2016
8:30am to 4:30pm
Technology Park Conference and Function Centre, Bentley
About the workshop
A one day workshop which will focus on
enhancing the capacity of the management team within grower groups across WA.
Often the challenge encountered by leading
and managing a team isn’t knowledge of what needs to be done (about the task, the
issue, or the opportunity), the challenge is in effectively and confidently
doing something about it. This workshop will focus on increasing internal
leadership and management effectiveness of three key resources of your grower
group: self, others and time.
Those who engage and influence other people
through both management and leadership, do so through:
1. What they do
2. What they say
3. Systems and processes
4. Culture
It’s important not to underestimate the
value of good culture and effective systems in leadership and management. In
this workshop, delivered by Rural Directions on behalf of Grower Group
Alliance, you will gain practical skills and tools to enhance the management of
self and others, to increase the effectiveness of contributions to your
organisation.
