Massage - Physiotherapy - Physical Therapy - Taping Services
Perth 2016 World Masters Athletics Championships
24th October – 6th November 2016
As the Official Sports Medicine Provider for Perth 2016, the Perth Integrated Health Clinic will provide Massage, Physiotherapy / Physical Therapy and Taping services for Perth 2016 Athletes.
If you would like to make an appointment before the 24th October please email lucy@pihc.com.au as will be able to organise this for you within our clinics located in Applecross or Balcatta. Note there will a different pricing for our clinic services.
Post Flight Recovery Massage (30 Minutes) - AUD $40 per person
Special treatment for relaxation and recovery post aeroplane flight. Releases joint and muscle tension, reduces swelling in the feet/legs and improves circulation. This massage also helps with jetlag.
Sports Massage (30 Minutes) - AUD $40 per person
Sports massage works to enhance performance, reduce injuries and improve recovery. We will use deep tissue, trigger point pressure and remedial techniques to help tired muscles. Relaxation and remedial massage options also available.
Physiotherapy / Physical Therapy (15 Minutes) - AUD $40 per person
For the athlete who has a musculoskeletal injury (pain, pinched nerve, strain, sprain) or an underlying medical condition needing attention by a qualified physiotherapist / physical therapist.
Taping - AUD $6.00 per person for one area
Taping of joints / muscles for performance or recovery with dynamic tape called Rocktape. Common taping areas include shoulders, knees, hamstrings, quads, calves and ankles. Taping can also include low back and mid back. Cost includes taping for one area. Additional areas will be additional $6.00 per area.
Thermal Blanket (60 mins) - AUD $80.00 per person
Thermal Blanket refers to the use of Far Infrared silicon blankets where the client is wrapped depending on the presenting condition. Suitable for those needing rapid recovery.
Foam Rolling includes 1 x Duo Ball Foam Roller (15 mins) - AUD $80.00
Foam rolling refers to the use of the German based roller called Blackroll by which patients are dispensed with a dual ball Blackroll and also taught techniques for application and fascia / muscle release. Perth Integrated Health is the Clinical Advisory clinical for Blackroll Australia nationally

Who is Perth Integrated Health Clinic?
Our practitioners are qualified allied health practitioners and frequently provide treatment services to athletes so we understand the rigours athletics can place on the body. We are also passionate about treating athletes. We have worked on many major events and these include Rottnest Channel Swim (the iconic and largest open water event in the southern hemisphere), Sunsmart Triathlon Series, Santos Great Perth Bike Ride and World Grand Fondo Cycling series just to name a few.
