Changing Organisations, Changing Work and Changing Roles - the Future of Work

A diverse panel of leading practitioners will come together to discuss the changing nature of our organisations, our work and the implications for the role of communications specialists.

Global, mobile and digital networks now shape the changing nature of our of work. At the same time our organisations face new demands and new stakeholders.  Our organisations are seeking to adapt to the new opportunities created for collaboration, agility & productivity, better employee engagement and wellbeing. Organisations are also seeking to engage new more vocal stakeholders and communities.

This session will explore a number of perspectives on how communicators can help their organisations to take advantage of the changing world of work.

IABC Victoria are proud to host a panel of four experts to discuss these and related issues as we explore the topic “How can communications professionals help their organisations to make the most of the future of work?”

Our facilitator for the event Simon Terry. Simon is a Change Agent, consultant, coach and speaker on effective learning, leadership and collaboration in the future of work.

Our panellists:
Jason Laird, Executive Director Communications and Chief Social Officer, Telstra
Danielle Bond, Head of Marketing and Communications, Aurecon
