Welcome to the 2016 SWAS-Telstra Fun Run Relay!
In May 2016, the South West Academy of Sport (SWAS) will host our annual fun run around Bunbury's Leschenault Inlet!
This event will raise money for SWAS's sporting programs, as well as encourage teamwork, fitness and community spirit. We invite you to register for the 10km run (individuals, team or pairs) or individually for the open 5km walk. We also encourage local schools (teachers, students, parents, etc) to come take part of this great event!
About SWAS
The South West Academy of Sport is a not-for-profit organisation that gets tomorrow's champions off to the right start by providing them with valuable support early in their careers.
The academy's individual support program and talent development pathways in australian rules football, hockey and netball give young sports men and women in the region the best possible chance of making it to the top of their sport.
Meanwhile, access to top tier coaches, specialist training services such as sports psychology and nutrition round out the program and present athletes with the skills to build a long and rewarding career in sport.
