Thank you for registering for the 11th Annual Fun Run & Walk held by the Yorke Peninsula Branch of Make-A-Wish® Australia. We’re so pleased that you will be joining us for the 9.2km Run or Walk from the lawns outside Wallaroo Town Hall to the Kadina Football Oval. With race categories to suit all ages and great prizes to be won, this is sure to be another fantastic event!

Event Details:

Date:                    Sunday 20th March 2016

Registration:        Online registrations are open until 5pm Wednesday 16th March 2016

Start time:            Arrival and registration from 7:30 – 8:30 at Wallaroo Town Hall, Irwin Street, Wallaroo SA

                            Each participant must check in at the registration desk prior to race start to receive their race registration number

                            
Race starts at 9am

Location:              Race begins at Wallaroo Town Hall Lawn and finishes at Kadina Football Oval

Transport:            A courtesy bus is available to transport participants from Kadina to Wallaroo prior to event however bookings are essential.

Full Race Only:

Adult $20

             Child aged 11 – 16 $10

             Child aged 5 - 10 $5

Full Race & Rainbow Run

Adult $25

Child aged 11-16  $15

Child aged 5-10  $10

Rainbow Run Only

$5.00 per person


Family Discount $50 (2 adults and up to 4 children – must be from the same family and all family members must be registered at the same time to be eligible)
*Please note- if your family would like to participate in the Rainbow Run an additional $5.00 per person within your family will be required for payment on the day of the race.  For example if you have two adults and 3 children and you would all like to participate in the Rainbow Run an additional $25.00 will be required to be paid on race day. Please go to the registration desk and our team will collect your additional fees.

Family Registration

A family is classified as two adults and up to 4 children (16yrs or under), as long as they are all from the same family. Please ensure that you enter the details of all family members to ensure that everyone is registered.


Open Category

Participants 16 years and younger may register for the “Open” categories rather than the “Child” categories however if they choose to do so they need to pay Adult registration fees. (i.e., if a 15 year old wishes to compete in the Open Male Runner category he must pay $20 registration rather than the child fee of $10).

Age Payment Categories

When selecting your age payment category, please select according to your age on 20th March, 2016.


Accepted Payment

Online registrations can be paid by Visa, MasterCard or American Express. 

Courtesy Bus

Once again this year you will have the opportunity to utilise a courtesy bus which will take participants from Kadina Football Oval (Kadina, SA) at 7:30am to the registration desk in Wallaroo. You can leave your car in Kadina and catch the bus to the start of the race. Bookings are essential and seats are strictly limited.


Catering

Food and refreshments will be available during the event followed by the prize presentations


Additional Activities

Staff from Flex Physio will be providing free leg and foot rubs to all participants at the Kadina Football Oval (following the race).


Rainbow Run

The last leg of the race will incorporate our Rainbow Run which is also available to those who don’t wish to participate in the full race. This will be located at the Kadina Football Oval and is a $5.00 to participate in.  
Bring along a white shirt or something to change in to before or after the Rainbow Run – and be prepared to get covered in all the colours of the rainbow! 


Items not permitted

Due to safety reasons bikes, rollerblades, skateboards and dogs are not permitted to participate in the race.

All participants will have their full name and time achieved advertised on the Yorke Peninsula Volunteer Branch Facebook page. By registering for this event, you agree to having these details published as described.
