Setting for Weight Management Workshop

2:00pm - 5:00pm Workshop –
“Goal setting for Weight Management”
Principal
psychologist from Weight Management Psychology, previous Director of Psychology
for the Wesley LifeShape Clinic, and Consulting Psychologist for Queensland
Bariatrics, Glenn Mackintosh provides a psychology-minded, evidence-based
approach for overcoming the common challenge of failure to reach weight goals
in people looking to release body weight.
The approach many people take to
setting and achieving weight goals is a major barrier to reaching and
maintaining a healthy weight. Furthermore, the common approach
often leads to unhealthy attitudes to food, physical activity, and weight,
promoting weight gain over time. However, psychology offers an
understanding of new approaches to setting and achieving goals, helping people
achieve and maintain healthy weights more successfully.
Translating conclusive research
into clinical practice, Glenn Mackintosh provides a comprehensive
psychology-based model for setting and reaching goals for the person looking to
release bodyweight.
Cost - $100.00
