Open (must be under 18 at 1/1/2015)

Classes:

K1, K2, TK1, TK2 Mini K1/Guppy (U11 & 12 only), Mini K2/Guppy (U11 & 12 only), C1, C2 

Distances:

200m and 500m

Entry fee:    $50 non members 

Members will receive a $10 discount on the final payment page making the total $40 for up to 4 events for members.

8am                Briefing
8.30am           500m races start
11.30am        Lunch Break (TBC)
12 midday       200m races start (TBC)
4pm                Pack up (TBC)

Medals will be presented throughout the day.

Rules:

  • Championships conducted under the Australian Canoeing Canoe Sprint Racing Regulations

  • All competitors under 12 years of age and any non-swimmers must wear a Type 2 PFD

  • Others must wear a PFD in accordance with their schools requirements

  • All craft must have adequate fixed buoyancy or be constructed of a material that will have it float horizontally when full of water. Protective footwear is recommended and sun protection.

  • Students must race in school colours
