Rip Swim - Group Swims 2015/2016
Welcome to Australia's most notorious swim. The swim is 3.2km in distance and temperatures will range from 15 - 19 degrees Celsius. Swimmers are allowed to wear wetsuits. This will be noted on the official Rip Swim Records.
The Rip is the most notorious stretch of water in Australia and you now have the chance to swim it! Make sure you have read about what is required from you in regard to preparation and putting your team together before signing up. All swimmers are required to stay together on group swims and obey instructions at all times for their safety.
Registering as a group
If you have a group of 5 - 8, register here and nominate your availability (
March 11 and 25 available). Cost to register a group is $400. Person (Captain) registering the team then just has to pay $70 to our nominated account to finalise their individual payment.
Once the full group
(minimum 5, maximum 8)is registered, we will contact the rest of the team for final payments ($470 each). It is your responsibility to ensure your group can swim and work together. If you would like to try and find another date, please email us at info@ripswim.com.au (additional costs will apply).

email us at info@ripswim.com.au (additional costs will apply). Due to safety and logistics, we have decided that we prefer people to register as groups so they can swim together on the day.
