Come to Hopetoun for four days of riding on quiet roads through Southern Mallee farmland. Flat as a pancake, but the heat and wind can be challenging, so bring extra water bottles and warm layers for the night. There are rides for all from 50 to 1200km, with the 50, 100, 150 and 200 distances available on Saturday and Sunday. All rides are registered permanents if you wanted to ride Monday and Tuesday while waiting for 1000 and 1200 riders to finish. A great social extended weekend starting with dinner at the Hopetoun Community Pub on Friday night. The Mallee Bush Retreat kitchen will be the warm centre of activities. The kitchen sits on the banks of Lake Lascelles and is central to the Mallee Bush Retreat accommodation - a fine place for sharing stories and coffee after or during the rides.

Air conditioned and heated cabin and bunkhouse accommodation is available at $15 per person per night. You can book up to five nights from Friday night as part of your online registration.

Basic breakfasts and hot meals will be provided by the Team Outpatients Cycling Club at the Mallee Bush Retreat kitchen, the hub of activities for the weekend. The local IGA offers needed supplies, and the Bon Bon Cafe the possibility of a celebratory cooked brekkie or carbo update.

Fill in the gaps with visits to close by Wyperfeld or Hattah National Parks.
