Welcome to Ice Sports Victoria program registration for Term 2, 2015

You can use this page to register your children for the Development Squad and/or Penguin Squad for Term 2, 2015.

Penguin Squad
This low cost, introductory program introduces children to the basic skills of ice skating in a fun and engaging setting. Suitable for begginner children with no previous skating ability required. Places are limited.

When: Tuesday afternoons during school term

Time: 4.45pm - 5.30pm

Where: Olympic Ice Skating Centre 1080 Centre Road, Oakleigh South

Cost:  $50.00 yearly online registration/insurance fee which also includes skate hire & coaching. $10.00 per session (pay at the door).
Children MUST provide their own bike/skate helmet.


Development Squad
Aimed at developing the next generation of Winter Olympic champions, this low cost program is structured to give school aged children an opportunity to learn how to Speed Skate in a fun and engaging environment.

Children are taught the basics of Ice Racing by Victorian Ice Racing Association coaches supported by qualified teaching staff.

Sessions are held weekly throughout the year at the Olympic Ice Skating Centre in Oakleigh. Parents are encouraged to attend to watch their children improve their balance, coordination, fitness and confidence.  

Children that demonstrate persistence and aptitude over the course of the year are invited to join and compete for the Olympic Southern Flyers Speed Skating Club.
