All profit raised will go to the YMCA Open Doors Charity who - with the help of fundraising events such as this - subsidise the costs of YMCA programs and services.

What is YMCA Open Doors?

YMCA Open Doors provides opportunities for local people doing it tough to become healthier, more active and better connected.

While many South Australian’s access a YMCA program or services on a weekly basis, YMCA Open Doors is concerned about the hundreds who do not and cannot due to their social and economic situation. People doing it tough have significantly poorer health than those more fortunate. We work with community agencies to help identify and refer people who would benefit from YMCA Open Doors assistance.

The majority of YMCA centres are local or state Government owned facilities.  This means that in order to offer subsidies through YMCA Open Doors we need to raise money to self-fund access.  YMCA managed centres work hard to fundraise within their local community for the benefit of that community. Any money donated or raised at a YMCA managed centre is used to support local individuals and families doing it tough.

We plan to run this event annually to continue to raise money for this cause.

We look forward to seeing you there.
