Dear Fellow Cyclist

 

The City of Melville and the Perth Integrated Health Cycling Group (PIHCG) are pleased to join forces for the 4th year running to bring you Bikeweek Breakfast at Canning Bridge on the Thursday 19th March 2015.  This Bikeweek Breakfast has been brought to you through a grant provided by the Department of Transport, sponsorship of the City of Armadale Grand Fondo and from co-contributions from all synergy partners who have chosen to participate and display their event / services and products at this Breakfast.

 

Details:

 

Date: Thursday 19th March 2015.

Location: Hosted at the Council land adjacent to Canning Bridge and the Raffles Hotel.

Time: Bikeweek Breakfast starts ONLY from 6 am and closes at 9 am as we need to bump out by 930 am.

Parking: There are NO parking for vehicles around the area.

Bikeweek Breakfast Pre-requisite:  That you ride to the Event and use an Australian approved helmet.

 

Specific Details: Will be provided to participants via E-newsletters leading up to the event.

 

As with previous years – we ask that you register for the FREE breakfast to enable us to:

 

  1. Budget our food purchases and also order accordingly
  2. Organise the logistics and layout of the vendors in accordance to the size of the crowd
  3. Ascertain some ride patterns through the City of Melville which the Council is interested about and some questions on Sports Medicine in Cycling which PIHCG is in turn interested for ongoing research.
  4. Determine your nominated time for breakfast once again for crowd control.

 

By registering you will also receive the following benefits:

 

  1. Priority queue for the Breakfast
  2. Receive up to THREE E-newsletters leading up to the Breakfast that will host specials and lucky draw ONLY for those who sign up of course;
  3. Go automatically into the Event lucky draw that we host in the course of the event.

How you can help us for this Bikeweek Breakfast:

 

  1. Inform your cycling friends of your nominated time chosen;
  2. Organise your social or bunch ride to stop over at the location on this particular day
  3. Spread the word as we will need to CAP the number of registrations if we reach our operational budget
  4. Make sure you rack your bike at the established bike racks on the day of the event
