Bonjour Audaxians and Visitors,
Once more we are operating from the MARYBOROUGH Caravan Park, with rides on Saturday and Sunday. All rides will commence from the CAMP KITCHEN close to the front of the Park, and finish in the Camp Kitchen. Further details when you pre-register.
Please note, contrary to what the web-site states, all rides are SUPPORTED food, drink will be available in the Camp Kitchen after each leg of your particular ride.
Points to Note
It can be hot and windy in this area, suggest a minimum of two water bottles.
This year the first loop will be a 200K loop and the 100K will use a different route from previous years.
The ride is reasonably flat, however a few pesky hills do occur, Baringhup to Maldon and lumpy between Newstead and Carisbrook. The roads are in pretty good condition, the only bad one is between Campbelltown and Tullaroop Reservoir, and there is also a nasty grid, just before the Reservoir sluice gate.
There are some good Coffee shops and Bakeries en-route!
