Ride the Range is an achievable challenge. We have ensured that the courses on offer suit all levels of cyclists, both road and mountain bike.

For the Ride the Range road event, you have the choice of either a 112km, 85km or 50km course.

For Ride the Range off road, you will take in one of South East Queensland’s best MTB trail networks right on the range in Jubilee Park.

Ride the Range “Classic”

The Classic is a 112km ride that weaves down the range to Gatton and returns via Blanchview Rd back to Picnic Point, taking in the remarkable scenery of the Lockyer Valley and the Great Dividing Range!

This is the big one, the big challenge of climbing back up the Great Diving Range.

Ride the Range 88km

The 88km ride is still an almighty challenge, but just that little bit shorter.

Again you will start at the top, at Picnic Point in Toowoomba and make your way down the range following a course through the hills and valleys of the Lockyer Valley, with the final climb up the range!

Ride the Range 58KM RIDE, the "Nifty Fifty"

If you would like it a little easier, then the 50km ride is for you.

You will start at Picnic Point, a nice steady swoop down the range into the scenery of Lockyer Valley.

Your “Nifty Fifty” will wrap up at Helidon State School. There, a bus will meet you and bring you and your bike back to Picnic Point in Toowoomba.

MTB Challenge

While the traditional Rotary Ride the Range route is challenging, there is more than one way to ride the range.

You can get a greater challenge and sense of achievement on the dirt by riding great single track around Toowoomba's Jubilee MTB Park. So bring your mountain bike and join us for some serious fun in the dirt on our second Ride the Range MTB Challenge.

Two Great Routes - Choose 40km or 25km

Each will start at Picnic point Restaurant at 7am Sharp. MTB Riders will travel Long Street, into Mackenzie and Campbell Streets to the join at the top of Toowoomba's Jubilee MTB Park (near the old quarry). Here you will enter over 20k's of the best Single track in South East Queensland and head down the Range.

MTB Ride the Range 40km - LONG
The long course is 40km in length, 1,300 metres of vertical elevation and the tough one. It takes in the best of Jubilee’s renowned single track and the challenge of returning to the top of the escarpment via the notorious Heart Attack Hill

MTB Ride the Range 25km - SHORT
The short course is 25km in length and takes in the best of Jubilee’s renowned single track and the challenge of returning to the top of the escarpment via the notorious Heart Attack Hill.
