QFA is hosting a Holiday Training Camp specifically for female students which will be held at Yeronga from 1-2 October. A number of of Queensland’s developing female coaches will be assisting during the camp, which will consist of a number of sessions focusing on different aspects of fencing including general fencing tactics and techniques, specialised coaching in different weapons and competition (designated as a QFA Squad Competition).

QFA Squad Competition (Women’s Foil – U11/U13/U15/U17)
The entry fee for the Squad Competition is automatically included for fencers who register for both days or for the single day including the competition – alternatively fencers can pay a $30 entry fee to participate in the competition either by itself or in combination with a single day registration for the first day of the camp
COST: The cost for the camp is $100 for both days, or $60 for a single day.

WHAT TO BRING: Participants should wear comfortable sports clothing. They should bring a water bottle and as much fencing equipment as possible (although equipment will be available to borrow if required). Please note that there is no canteen running during the camp, so participants need to bring their own food – however, drinks will be available to purchase.
