There's something magical about a night ride and this one has it all: a mostly full moon, quiet country roads and supported checkpoints, including a celebratory post-event breakfast.

Finish your working week then start the weekend with a 200 km night ride on Friday 3 October 20134



Leaving Kyneton at 8 pm, this ride will see you using your lights until at least dawn on Saturday morning. It begins with a short loop to Lancefield (unsupported checkpoint), then back to Kyneton for sustenance before tackling the 70 km ride to Bendigo. You'll be lucky to see any cars on the back roads, but do watch out for wildlife. Fuel up at the unsupported Bendigo checkpoint before returning to Kyneton and a well-earned breakfast.
