Ready, get set, register for ECU's Community Campus Dash! Explore ECU's Joondalup Campus and the surrounding area, while raising funds for vital research.
This year we're raising funds for ECU's Melanoma Research Group to help progress their work developing a blood test for detecting Melanoma. All entry fees* go towards their research, which will significantly improve Melanoma diagnosis and treatment.
Entry information
You can enter as an individual or a team (4 people), with prizes for the best individual costume and team costume as well as best individual and team times for each route!
Runners: There are three distances on offer: 2km, 5km and 10km.
Walkers: There are 2km and 5km routes
Plus there is a 2km Children's Course.
Early bird specials
Register before Sunday, 31 August to take advantage of cheaper entry fees:
- 10km Route: $30.00 per person ($40.00 after 31 August)
- 5km Route: $15.00 per person ($25.00 after 31 August)
- 2km Route: $5.00 per person ($15.00 after 31 August)
- 2km Children's Route: $4.00 ($8.00 after 31 August).
Entering as a Team
You can enter a team of 4 comprised of:
- All male team,
- All female team,
- Mixed team
- Children's team (Mixed)
Each individual in the team must run the full distance (not relay).
Teams must have four (4) members, to enter a team into the Dash:
- The team captain can create the team and register, then the other 3 members can register separately, or
- All 4 members can register at time of the team creation.
Spectators
Bring along your support team! Family and friends are welcome - if they don't want to run or walk with you, they can cheer you on from the sidelines or wait for you at the finish line.
*Entry Fees
All entry fees, less an administration cost of $1.00 per entrant and a 2% processing fee, will go to ECU's Melanoma Research Group, who are developing a blood test for detecting Melanoma.For more information about Melanoma Research at ECU: ecu.edu.au/melanoma
