Here’s all the Details of the Wildlife Emergency FUNdraiser Car Rally.
Date: Sunday 18th May 2014
Start Time: Registration starts at 7:00am with first cars leaving from 8:00am
End Time: Event ends at approximately 4:00pm. Zoo closes at 5:00pm
Location: Starts at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital and ends at Australia Zoo.
Address: Steve Irwin Way, Beerwah. Follow signs to Australia Zoo, enter car park then proceed to second car park (over small bridge) and the Hospital is on the opposite side of second car park.
Locations of challenges and activities: Well, we can’t tell you everything, can we? Let’s just say you’ll be zipping around the Sunshine Coast area. You can probably guess a few of the locations by looking at our sponsors. However, you’ll still need to follow the clues, do some scavenging for items along the way as well as solve all the puzzles so that you do everything!
Price per vehicle: $125 for a maximum of 5 participants (Wow, that’s only $25 each).
Inclusions: Entry into premises to complete the challenges and activities. Some of these challenges are limited to one participant per vehicle (you choose who will be the victim … I mean lucky one). At some locations, additional participants may choose to undertake the challenge at discounted cost as an optional extra cost to you.
Exclusions: Entry price does not include lunch, drinks, petrol, souvenirs, raffle tickets, back massages or anything else that we haven’t mentioned. Please bring along some extra cash for these items (particularly raffle tickets).
What to wear: Mandatory clothing includes covered footwear, as this is a requirement for some of the challenges and activities. Please wear appropriate clothing for an outdoor activity and even in May, you should remember to slip, slop, slap.
Terms and Conditions: see our website for legal terms and conditions and liability waiver. Basically, entry is at your own risk and please act appropriately. Registration and participation in the event indicates that you accept these terms and conditions.
Profits: 100% of profits are being donated to Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors! We hope to raise thousands to help them with the vital life saving wildlife conservation projects, including the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital. So come and have a great family day while helping us fundraise for this awesome charity!
